Things that Catch My Eye

I'm typically not a "we" fan, but a couple things caught my eye in this catalog.

Do any of you have these items or is there anything "we" you recommend?

First up, the Modern Windsor Dining Chairs.

Beautiful for a farm house look. Unfortunately, I have an overload of chairs. We have 4 chairs and a bench with our new table and we had 4 chairs with our old dining room table. Plus, a few other chairs throughout the house. So, chair overload and not willing to bite the $149 price tag.

I am also a fan of the Modern Windsor Accent Chair, but definitely not for the $399 price tag.

I love throw pillows, but also have more of these than I know what to do with. When we moved into our log home we completely re-did the theme. Before we were fairly modern with a lot of black and white, flowers, and New York. Now we are very primitive. I love both styles, but there are some things I haven't been able to get rid of from my old style, several of which are pillows.

These chunky purl pillow covers would be great without the buttons. Unfortunately, I am not a huge button fan on anything.

It breaks my heart that this next item won't really work in my home now. I have always loved the Organic Cotton Pin-tuck Duvet and Shams. I know this has been a fairly popular item among the blog world and I envy anyone who has it. It looks so perfect!

I'm not sure if the Ruffled-Circle Quilt and Shams would look right in my home. I really like it, but think it might still be too modern. I love all the colors but can't stop looking at the poppy.

Anything you are liking from "we"?

Meet the McBs!

Welcome to my new blog!

Since my old blog didn't start off as well as I had hoped, I have started a new blog, dedicated to my new house and start of the next stage of my life.
This is me--Mrs. McB. I recently moved back to my hometown in West Virginia.

I enjoy decorating our new log home in primitive decor, scrapbooking, reading, and crafting.

This is Mr. McB--the reason for our move. His job transferred him back to our hometown.
Mr. McB enjoys camping, hunting and working. Secret-he also enjoys decorating our log home in primitive decor.
I am looking forward to the start of my new life and my new blog.
